Call for expressions of financing intent for private operators and development partners.
The Government of Senegal has set itself the objective of achieving universal access to electricity by 2029. To this end, the Universal Electricity Access Completion Strategy (SAAUE) provides for the electrification of 6,471 non-electrified localities, representing a projected population of more than 1.1 million people by 2029.
The Government intends to mobilise the financing required to implement this programme through strong involvement of the national private sector and development partners, as well as recourse to diversified and innovative financing mechanisms.
Private operators, investors and development partners are therefore invited to support the delivery and success of this ambitious universal electricity access programme by 2029.
